We offers General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course, which is Affiliated By Dept.of Health & FW,Govt.of West Bengal & West Bengal Nursing Council(W.B.N.C.). Eligibility
The minimum Educational Qualification requirements for application shall be passing of class XII with 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (40% for SC, ST, OBC- A& B, PWD candidates).
General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM is a three-year and six-month diploma course designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery. Although the curriculum design of the course varies from university to university, GNM courses are designed to prepare the students for the clinical approach of handling patients. The curriculum of some universities includes a six-month internship at the end of the course and the diploma is granted only after the candidates complete this internship.
The GNM course has been designed to enable eligible candidates to address the health needs of the country, community, and individuals.
The students have to clear the Entrance Exam WB-JENPAUH now known as JENPASUG conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEEB) on behalf of the Central Selection Committee (Nursing). It is a state level Entrance Examconducted every year by West Bengal.

The B.Sc nursing is a 4 years degree programme. This programme aims at preparatory the students to be competent professional with scientific innovative idea in solving health problems and in delivering quality health care. Nursing is an important professional related to the field of medicine students are given exposure to the theoretical and practical education and the courses are molded to imbibe the essence of both. The Courses are also designed to develop abilities to work with other specialist medical and paramedical personal, devise and damourite disease prevention and health promotion programme integrated principle of hygiene are taught in the course.
Eligibility Criteria/Admission Requirement for GNM Nursing Course Duration: 4 years The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English. • The minimum age for Admission will be 17 years • Student shall be medically fit.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Raiganj Nightingale Institute of Nursing Science ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
