For the purpose of ensuring proper and systematic training, Woodlands Hospital commissioned the Woodlands College of Nursing in the year 1995.
The College of Nursing is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and West Bengal Nursing Council and is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Name of the course : Bachelor of Science(Nursing) Number of seats : 50 Duration of the course : 4 years Age and Sex : Only female completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Eligibility : The students have to clear the entrance WB-JENPAUH now known as JENPAS-UG conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination(WBJEEB) on behalf of the Central Selection Committee (Nursing). It is a state level entrance organized every year. Education : The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of class XII with 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (40% for SC, ST, OBC- A & B, PWD candidates). Medical Fitness : Candidates should be medically fit. Vacation: Vacations shall be given in each year as per the guidelines of the INC and WBUHS. Clinical Experience :The students are provided with opportunities for gaining experience through supervised clinical practice in Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital Limited which is the Parent Hospital as well as other Affiliated Hospitals. Examination : University Examination will be conducted as per the syllabus provided by Indian Nursing Council. Registration : The students who are declared successful in the final examination are eligible for registration as Registered Nurse(RN) with the West Bengal Nursing Council. Attendance : 80% Theory and 100% Clinical attendance is required for every students to appear in University Examination.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Woodlands School Of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
