Being very much glad and thrilled to have a surprising offer, I cordially accept it and joined the post of principal in this institution. Based on my academic and administrative experiences, I am really delighted to be a part of this growing endeavour by Deepsikha Nursing Institute let us have the scopes to make all the possible betterments for all and I hope it will be an ideal institution where the successes of the students, teachers will be an important exposure for the dazzling institutional profile. Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals,families and communities so they may attain ,maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life.Nurses may be differentiated from other health care providers by their approach to patient care,training and scope of practice.Nurses practice in any specialties with differing levels pf prescription authority.Education for the practice of professional nursing demands a substantial knowledge of nursing,drawing the foundation from the knowledge of behaviouraland biological sciences.The nursing component includes lectures, laboratory and clinical courses concentrated in every nursing programme.The nursing courses include coursework relevant to professional practice,delivery of nursing care,systems for care delivery and leadership skill development appropriate to current dynamic and diverse health care settings.clinical courses,offered in both hospital settingsand community,provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practice.
Rules & Regulations :
1. Every student admitted to the B.Sc. Nursing course shall have to follow rules and regulations of the Nursing College. 2, Every student will have to attend classes and practical work regularly as per the University requirements.
3. In case of illness, permissions shall have to be obtained from the principal to remain absent from studies. 4. Rules and regulations of the hostel shall have be followed and order of the warden will have to be adhered to.
3. The local guardian can see their ward on Sundays only . In case of emergency, permission shall have to be obtained from the warden. 6. The students will be allowed to go for shopping onee in a month or a holiday.
7. The students shall have to follow rules and regulations of the college and hostel. No student will be provided any extra facilities nor requests will be entertained for providing in rooms electric appliances, almirah, stool, chair ete. Other than provided by the college.
8. Clinical Experience Charges:
The charges for training in related institutions like Mother Teresa Lions hospital & Raghunathpur Super Speciality Hospital. Rural health centre Asurbandh PHC & urban health centre Raghunathpur super speciality hospital or any other hospital will be born by the candidates them selves.
9. Enrollment:
At the time of admission to the said course, candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee to get herself / himself enrolled with the University and submit all required certificates as required by the University from time to time. Student have to become a member of Students Nurses Association of India
10. Discipline
All the students will have to abide strictly by the rules and regulation of the college and hosted during their studies enforced from time to time, Any violation will be strictly dealt with. The Principal reserves the right to rusticate students found indulging I acts prejudical to the interest of the institute or involved in gross in discipline or immoral act.
11. Uniform:
The candidate admitted for studies are bound to wear the uniform ordered by the institute. Presently the uniform includes checked Maroon Kurta and White Salwar for the Black shoes. If necessary the uniform can be changed by the college management.
12. Social Service :
Once a week students will be iovelved in social work for twe hours according Lo the instructions of the principal, Nursing College.
13. Basic Computer Programming:
Students of Nursing will be provided knowledge and training in basic computer programming so as to enable them in handling the scientific data of research.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Deepsikha Nursing Institute ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
