Genex Nursing Institute is a male nursing institution established in 2021 under the Genex Suptenndu Group. The objective of the institute is to provide skilled training and education to students interested in pursuing a career as male nurses. The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program offered by the institute has an intake capacity of 60 students per batch. The institute is affiliated by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC). Our institute is recognised by Swasthya Bhawan.
Our course aims to groom candidates & to help them develop into excellent medical professionals who will make a meaningful contribution towards our country’s health care system.
The institute's campus is equipped with modern infrastructure that includes classrooms, laboratories, a multi-purpose hall, staff and common rooms, a library, an AV room, bathrooms, and a store room. The labs are well-equipped with modern equipment and technology to facilitate practical classes. The institute also provides soft-skills training, outdoor practice at government hospitals, hostel and hygiene canteen facilities, job assistance, education loan assistance, and scholarship programs. The institute also conducts cultural programs and non-academic activities to help students develop communication skills and learn to use their intelligence in crisis situations. The institute's admission office is located in the Village- Mulkathi, P.O- Machkhanda, P.S - Raina, Near- Alameen Mission, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal: 713103. The Genex Suptenndu Group, under which the institute is operated, has several educational branches covering professional and mainstream studies.

Eligibility
10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Students shall be medically fit.
First Year:
•Biological Sciences: Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology. • Behavioural Sciences: Psychology and Sociology. •Fundamentals of Nursing: Introduction to nursing, nursing procedures, hygiene, and first aid. •Community Health Nursing: Basic concepts of community health, healthcare delivery systems, and environmental hygiene. •English and Communication Skills: Enhancing language proficiency and effective communication. Practical – Nursing Foundation – 200 hrs (Lab) | 680 hrs (Clinic) | 320 hrs (CHN- 1)
Second Year:
• Medical-Surgical Nursing I: Medical-surgical nursing care for various conditions and diseases. • Pharmacology: Study of drugs, their classifications, and their effects on the human body. • Medical-Surgical Nursing II: Advanced medical-surgical nursing practices. • Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing: Understanding mental health disorders and providing psychiatric nursing care. • Child Health Nursing: Nursing care for children and adolescents. • Co-Curricular activities. Practical – Medical Surgical Nursing 1 & 2 = 800 hrs. Mental Health Nursing = 320 hrs Child Health Nursing = 320 hrs.

• Midwifery and Gynaecological Nursing: Comprehensive understanding of midwifery practices, obstetric nursing care, and gynaecological conditions. • Community Health Nursing II: Advanced concepts of community health nursing, epidemiology, and healthcare management. • Paediatric Nursing: Specialized nursing care for infants, children, and adolescents. The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
