M.R. College Of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research established in the year 2019. At present college conducts Four Years of B.Pharm Course and Two Years of D. Pharm Course. The management is committed to provide the students with the necessary environment and the support for their career planning and advancement. Though focused to ensure academic and co-curricular facilities to a vibrant student community, the college is conscious of its role as a constructive and responsible component of the larger society. Its consistent and unstinting efforts in this direction are borne out by the fact that students enter the college, young, immature, uncertain, bewildered, but leave its portals still young, but much more mature, self-confident and ready to lead rich lives of their own even while enriching that of the society. The M.R.College Of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research is a Ragging Free Institution.
The college is affiliated to MAKAUT and conducts degree course in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and WBSCTE for Diploma Course (D.Pharm). The institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The nearest Railway station, Bira is 2.4 KM away and the NH 34 (Kachari More) is 4.5 KM away from the college. The college has experienced and well qualified faculty as well as good infrastructural facilities with well equipped modern laboratories, museum and classrooms with audio- visual aids likes LCD/OHP etc. A well designed computer laboratory provides internet facility to individual students. The Central Instrument room has HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, High Vacuum driers, centrifuges rotary evaporators and several other instruments of facilitate research activities by teaching members.
Students have become well conversant in using sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC, UV-visible Spectrophotometer, Fluorimeter, Dissolution Testing Apparatus etc. The college library, with its vast and eclectic collection of books, national and international scientific journals, pharmaceutical magazines and e-journals quenches the thirst for knowledge of both staff and students and gives utmost attention to the overall development of the personality of students. The journey to fulfill the vision of imparting quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences has been initiated with great enthusiasm. With a strong support base from the management and dedicated faculties, the college has acquired excellent reputation amongst all the pharmacy colleges in West Bengal. M.R.College Of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research has a well maintained Medicinal Plants Garden. The institution has many Species of rare medicinal plants which can be develop and cultivated in the future for research purpose. Our students are not only assisted for day to day class work, but also guided by the teachers for several competitive exams. Special attention is given to the personality development and interpersonal interaction of the students. The students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities like sports and cultural events. This unfolds the institute's mission on overall development of students which will shape them into future entrepreneurs, leaders and above all responsible human beings, offering a healthy society to the world. The name “M. R. Knowledge Park” is synonymous with its driving force- Director, Dr Jahidul Sarkar, the dynamic, passionate and caring leader who has shaped MRKP from scratch. Realizing during his Studentship that Liberalization and Privatization of the Indian economy and consequently the education sector would open the door to innumerable opportunities, inspired by the wisdom of ISLAM, the legendary statesman, our Missile-Man Indian President, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam and backed by the encouragement and blessings of his parents and well-wishers, Dr Jahidul Sarkar sowed the seeds of the parent trust, M.R.Charitable Trust.

Eligibility
Candidates should secure 45% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics in 10+2, passing individually in all the above-mentioned subjects along with English. Candidates are allotted seat through JEE (Main) & WBJEE.
Candidates can apply for admission after successful completion of D.Pharm having min. 50% of marks through JELET.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.

engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
