Eminent College of Pharmaceutical Technology has started its journey in the field of Pharmacy with a definite vision and mission. It is our responsibility to impart the quality education among the students and to the society. ECPT is committed to provide excellent environment for teaching learning and carrier planning. We have started our journey with fine infrastructure and motto of becoming a pioneer pharmaceutical research institute in India. ECPT is accepting the crisis and global challenges in the pharmaceutical and health care system and will try to add novel value in this area for society. We will create not only good technologist but good human being for future society.
At the inception we are offering 2 year Diploma in Pharmacy and 4 year Bachelor of Pharmacy courses (Degree). In near future, the Institute will be upgraded itself by offering M. Pharm courses. We are encouraging and providing the research facility for teachers to upgrade themselves.
ECPT is situated in rolling parkland on the edge of Barasat. ECPT has pollution free and green campus with all the necessary facilities.

The Eminent College of Pharmaceutical Technology, Kolkata, has been developed under the auspices of the Nirmala Foundation Trust, a non-profit organisation with a vision of spreading quality technical education to all sections of society, particularly in the peri-urban areas of Kolkata.
The profession of Pharmacy has undergone a sea of change and from production, quality control and marketing, the Pharmacist today reigns as a Health Care Professional, involved in the safe and efficacious utilization of drugs and pharmaceuticals, and also in the discovery and development of newer medicines for the future.
Eminent College of Pharmaceutical Technology offers a two year D.Pharm course and a four year B.Pharm course and intends to start the post-graduate M.Pharm course in the near future.
The institute is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT), West Bengal for the graduate course and West Bengal State Council for Technical Education (WBSCTE) for the Diploma course. The curriculum is in strict accordance with the guidelines set down by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
With a team of dedicated and experienced academic and administrative staff and adequate infrastructural facilities, ECPT, provides quality education to nurture students, who will make a positive impact on society.

Eligibility
Candidates should secure 45% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics in 10+2, passing individually in all the above-mentioned subjects along with English. Candidates are allotted seat through JEE (Main) & WBJEE.
BACHELOR IN PHARMACY
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates applying for admission should pass 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as the subjects with minimum of 45% marks (average) in the above subjects (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC) and have to qualify in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination, (JEE Main). The admission of the candidates would be as per guidelines of MAKAUT & PCI.

DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY

About Council
ABOUT THE COUNCIL
After AICTE Statutory Council advised all States to give autonomous status to the State Councils of Technical Education, Government of West Bengal set-up a committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. Sankar Sen, the then Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University to suggest procedure for setting-up a Statutory Council for the Technical Education.
Then Government of West Bengal in the Technical Education & Training Department moved a Bill before the Legislative Assembly for setting-up a Statutory Council of Technical Education. West Bengal State Council of Technical Education became a Statutory Body under West Bengal Act XXI of 1995. The Council started its activities as a Statutory Body after Gazette Notification on 12th June, 1996. Now the council is known as West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development.
The council started with a vision of “To be a world class organization leading technological and socio-economic development of the Country by enhancing the global competitiveness of technical manpower and by ensuring high quality technical education to all sections of the society”.
The definite missions of council are
1. All round development of Technical Education in the State which should transcend to the grass root level people by ensuring the quality education.
2. The industry –institute interaction for new products, new technology and service.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Eminent College of Pharmaceutical Technology ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
