The initiative of nursing education of Desun started its journey in the year 2011. Desun Nursing School and College is housed in a sprawling state of the art campus at Rajarhat , Kolkata; equipped with the latest learning infrastructure, furnished with the state-of-the-art labs and an exhaustive library. Added to that, an extremely passionate and highly experienced faculty team makes the Desun Nursing School & College a cherished learning destination for the aspiring nursing students.

To nurture the technical skill and professional knowledge of the nursing profession.
To impart quality education to the students, adhering to the standards of NABH and NABL and other statutory bodies.
Candidates have to present their government issued caste certificate during the WB ANM & GNM Application process. They have to be a citizen of India and have domicile in West Bengal. It is mandatory to have a high school passing certificate in the science stream. The minimum required marks at the 10+2 level is 45%.
NM or General Nursing Midwifery is a Three years diploma course and is one of the most recognized in the field of Nursing.
GNM diploma course is considered as a stepping stone towards making a career in the Nursing field. Successful completion of a GNM diploma leads them to be registered as an RNRM (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) and are designated as a Nurse to working with Government, private hospitals and clinics.
Future prospects for students also lies in pursuing higher education & become eligible to pursue BSc Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing programmes.
Desun Nursing School is the most preferred Nursing School for GNM in West Bengal, for its high placement records and extensive learning process.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Desun Nursing School ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
