Department of Nursing of Aliah University is a very new initiative to encourage female education, to help students to acquire basic and sound technical and scientific knowledge and skills in nursing profession. The Department of Nursing established in the year 2016 with its first batch of B.Sc Nursing program with 60 annual intake.
It is always our core objective to impart quality knowledge and training to our students to prepare them a good professional as well as citizen of this country and to develop awareness and carry forward their social responsibilities.
The Department of Nursing is affiliated with West Bengal Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. It is under the academic control of Aliah University and administrative control of MA&ME Dept. Govt. of West Bengal.
Presently the Department of Nursing has 1 Professor cun HoD, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors and 3 tutors (on contractual basis). 2 Assistant Professors post is vacant for which interview has already been taken place. Also 10 tutors on contractual basis would be taken very soon.
The Department has one office staff, one peon, 3 security, 2 cleaner, one sweeper and two drivers.

Department of Nursing Aliah University Fees &
Eligibility
10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks.
Eligibility Criteria :
Here are the prescribed eligibility criteria required for seeking admission to the course:
Aspiring candidates must have passed Class 12 exam from any recognised board
Candidates must have Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English in the Class 12 exam and must score minimum 45% in the qualifying exam
Only unmarried, female candidates will be eligible for applying to the B.Sc. course
Candidates must be within 27 years of age
Candidates must be domicile of West Bengal for the past 10 years
Selection Process :
Candidates will be selected as per the following rules:
Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying exam
Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the AUAT (Aliah University Admission Test) 2022. The exam duration is 120 minutes and consists of Multiple Choice Questions on subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, English, Physics, General Knowledge and Islamic Studies & Culture
Final selection is based on the overall performance
How to Apply?
Candidates must follow the below mentioned steps to apply:
Step 1- Visit the official application portal of Aliah University.
Step 2-Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
Step 3- Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
Step 4- Choose the examination centre for the AUAT 2022, Pay the application fee (INR 400 for male candidates and INR 300 for female candidates), upload relevant documents and submit the Application form.
Step 5- Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.

Likes
The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Department of Nursing Aliah University ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
