At JSNursing (Jiaganj School and College Of Nursing is the best nursing college in murshidabad , West Bengal ) we recognize the crucial role that nursing professionals play in delivering high-quality healthcare services. With an acute shortage of qualified nurses in the country, there is a pressing need to strengthen the nursing workforce through relevant educational programs. Our GNM Nursing program is designed to meet this need and uplift the status and standards of the nursing profession in line with the recommendations of the Indian Nursing Council. We aim to prepare student nurses to assume professional responsibilities in primary, secondary, and tertiary care. Our graduates are equipped to teach and supervise other nurses in providing safe and quality healthcare across various settings. They are also prepared to participate in the administration of nursing services and education.

Eligibility
Completed 10+2 from a recognized board with English, obtaining a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination and English individually. Candidates from State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the central Government are also eligible. Science background is preferred. Completed 10+2 with English and obtained 40% marks in the vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Completed 10+2 with English and obtained 40% marks in the Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/ Centre.
e admission procedure for GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) courses in West Bengal may vary slightly depending on the Jiaganj School and College of Nursing year wise , but generally, the following steps are involved:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 40% marks in aggregate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum percentage may be relaxed by 5%).
Application Process: Candidates need to apply for the GNM course through the official website of the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBJEE) or the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) West Bengal. The application form needs to be filled with personal and academic details and the relevant documents must be uploaded.
Admit Card: After the submission of the application form, the admit card for the entrance exam will be issued at the jmnursing website

Document Verification: Candidates who are allotted seats need to appear for document verification at the respective institutes. Candidates need to carry their original documents, such as mark sheets, certificates, ID proofs, and other relevant documents.
Admission: After the document verification process, candidates need to complete the admission formalities, pay the fees, and join the course.

Likes
The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Jiaganj School and College Of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
