Practical Training and experiential learning are the factors we stress on. Our students are taught in Real time scenarios for learning the Practical aspects, and not just in Theory. Each course has a very strong Hands on approach. Being a direct unit of Basumati Hospital, it makes a huge difference when our students are taught at our own hospital.
Basumati Hospital was facing massive shortage in getting trained nurses. So, we decided to create our own institute - which will cater to our requirement for personnel. This problem of shortage of skilled manpower is being faced by other hospitals also. So Basumati Institute of Nursing can cater to the requirements of the entire healthcare industry by providing high quality healthcare professionals.
Students should have studies PCB and English as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 50% marks in Class XII exams are required by students in order to qualify for the BSc Nursing course admission. There is also an age limit criterion for students to be eligible for BSc Nursing. The age of the applicant should be 17+ on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is being done.
Nursing includes the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled and dying people. Advocacy, promotion of a safe environment, research, participation in shaping health policy and in patient and health systems management, and education are also key nursing roles. - International Council of Nurses Nurses develop a plan of care, working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, the patient, and other team members, that focuses on treating illness to improve quality of life.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Basumati Institute Of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
