10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre. Registered ANM with pass mark.
Age
Age must be between 17 to 35 years as on the 31st December 2023.
Minimum Educational Qualification
For GNM a) Must pass ‘10+2’ examination from any recognized Board with at least 45% marks in aggregate. b) Must pass in English in (10+2) examination. c) Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from the Health Care Science discipline.
For B.Sc. Nursing a) Must pass ‘10+2’ examination (with Physics Chemistry Biology subjects) from any recognized Board. b) Minimum aggregate considering above subjects taken together for General and EWS: 45%. c) Minimum aggregate considering above subjects taken together for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC- B/PwD: 40%. d) Must pass in English in (10+2) examination.
Medical Fitness
The candidate will not be admitted, if she is found medically unfit. the following Examination are to be done at IINR before admission (i) Physical Examination by a (Registered) medical practitioner , (ii) Chest x – ray PA view, (iii) Routine examination of Blood, urine and stool, (iv) Blood group & RH factor, (v) Eye testing.
Others
Candidates from vocational streams at any open school will not be accepted. Candidates must be able to read , write and express in Bengali and English. The candidates must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of West Bengal for at least 5 years uninterruptedly on the date of application. Only female Unmarried /Widow /Divorce can apply for the course. Course is fully residential.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
ICH Faculty of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
