Nursing College Building has been shifted from Nurses ‘hostel to the 8th floor of Academy Building, NRSMCH in last year. And Previous college building (i,e. 2nd floor of Nurses’ hostel) has become as hostel accommodation for 70 students.
Goals
Prepare all students to assume responsibility as professional, competent nurses and midwives and prepare nurses for independent decision making in any nursing situations. Utilize the latest trend and technology in providing advance healthcare techniques; demonstrate leadership and management skills in clinical and community health settings.

All passed out students are doing their work efficiently in all hospitals and nursing homes. They are doing independently their work. Course and admission conducted by this institution
45% Candidate must have passed or must be appearing in 2023 in class 12 in (10+2) system only and obtained the mentioned marks. Candidate must have passed the subject with individual passing marks in physics, chemistry, biology in both theory and practical with the mentioned marks in aggregate from a recognized board/ council. Candidate must have passed in English in (10+2). ( Only Female candidates are eligible for admission)
WBJEE JENPAS -2020 is conducted for Admission to B.Sc. Nursing courses in different Government and Private Nursing colleges / Institutions of West Bengal. JENPAS (formarly known as JENPAUH) conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on behalf of Central Selection Committee (Nursing), West Bengal Government College of Nursing (SSKM Hospital Campus) functioning under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Govt. College Of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
