Conceptualised and set up by Dr Subhasis Mitra, an Oncosurgeon with 30 years of experience and 16 years of practice in the UK, Sanjiban draws its strength from a dedicated team of expert doctors from UK and India, supported by a group of highly skilled nurses and other clinical and non-clinical staff.

Sanjiban Hospital was established with the goal of delivering modern & affordable treatment to every strata of society and also to provide a better livelihood, so the hospital’s founders decided not to confine themselves to provide only healthcare services.
Therefore, they formed Sanjiban College of Nursing, Sanjiban School of Nursing and Sanjiban Institute of Health Science where application and academics go hand in hand to prepare the youngsters for the most humane vocation of mankind.
Sanjiban intends to improve skill training facilities to the point that our country will become a hub for trained professionals, and India’s population will become more skilled and active.
We have come up with several courses which we have designed and developed to train our youth towards ultimate development which will not only make them self-sufficient but also help Sanjiban Hospital and the other healthcare facilities in providing better service to the general public.
West Bengal GNM 2020: West Bengal Nursing Council releases a notification for GNM training (General Nursing and Midwifery course). Eligible candidates will get admission to various institutions of West Bengal state. To participate in the admission procedure of GNM conducted in the state of West Bengal candidates need to fill and submit the application form available on the official website. On the basis of the merit list which will be prepared by the authorities, candidates will be able to get admission. The merit list will be provided on the basis of the information provided by the applicant in the application form regarding marks secured by them in the HSC exams.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian citizens are only eligible to apply for the admission procedure.
Applicants must be a permanent resident of West Bengal having a valid domicile certificate of West Bengal state. Permanent resident of the District of West Bengal (from where he/she is applying) uninterruptedly for at least five years
12th Pass in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Bio Science) with Minimum 40 % Marks.
Applicants must be a able to read, write and speak in Bengal / Nepali.
Appearing candidates of HSC are also eligible to apply.
Candidates should be above the age of 17 years and below the age of 27 years at the time of admission.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Sanjiban School of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
