BSC (NURSING):
Duration : 4 year
BSc Nursing is catered in two segments, which are BSc Basic and BSc Post Basic. The eligibility criteria for BSc Nursing is a 10+2 or equivalent examination completion certificate from Science stream with PCB and English as compulsory subjects.
For BSc Nursing Post Basic, the basic criteria are the same as BSc Nursing eligibility criteria. Apart from it, for BSc Nursing Post Basic, candidates need to acquire a General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) certificate and register her/himself from State Nurses Registration Council as Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM)

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
SANTINIKETAN SEBANIKETAN NURSING INSTITUTE ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.

In order to be eligible to pursue this course, a students needs to have completed his Class XII education from a recognized board. They should also have studies PCB and English as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 50% marks in Class XII exams are required by students in order to qualify for the BSc Nursing course admission. There is also an age limit criterion for students to be eligible for BSc Nursing. The age of the applicant should be 17+ on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is being done.
BSc Nursing Syllabus includes subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Psychology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and many other related subjects. BSc Nursing syllabus is divided into 6 parts. The student must focus on all six parts equally. All the parts are equally important including General Knowledge.
