India has long been known as a hub for nurses, and often looked upon to supply nurses to the 1st World Nations. Notably, when we consider Indian history, nurses were actually young men. Women acted as midwives for aiding in childbirth. And, a long time ago, the acceptance of nursing as a profession in India was blockaded due to various reasons. At that point in time, India was caught in the fences of political upheaval and cultural uncertainty.
However, time passed. Now, for many good reasons, nursing as a profession has grown and the demand for nurses in India is set to continue. While once there was very little choice in choosing any specialization, there is now a plethora of career opportunities. The career opportunities in nursing are very high not only in India but also abroad. With more and more nursing colleges opening up each day, it is a sign of the requirement of skilled and qualified people required for the service. Undoubtedly, the career is not for everyone as it asks for a lot of patience and hard work.

10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Mrinalini Devi School of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
