Tagore Institute of Art and Education is a Teacher Training Institute situated in the outskirts of Bolpur town in Birbhum district of West Bengal. The Institute currently offers B.Ed. and D.El.Ed Courses. The Institute works with the aim to Impart Teacher Training to meet the growing manpower requirement in Secondary and Higher-Secondary Schools and to inculcate the Spirit of Good Education. The Courses under this Institute aim to empower the Students belonging to the Rural Area to obtain Unique Employment Opportunity. The Institution aims to create Congenial, Social and Academic Environment for further education among the mass rural people. The Motto of the Institution is forming Academic Faculties with the Heights Rigor of Academic Standard which will consists of Permanent, Part-time, Ad-Hoc and Visiting Faculties from the Reputed Academic Institutes.
The college was eastablished in the Year 2011.

Eligibility
1. The candidates should have passed the UG Degree Examination in the 10+2+3 stream, with the same main subject in part III, for which he is seeking admission in the B.Ed., course.The candidate must have 50% in the UG or PG.
Candidates who have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply

Likes
The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Tagore Institute of Art and Education ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
