Kabiguru Rabindranath College of Education was established in 2012 to fulfill the needs of teacher education in Cooch Behar district. The institution is located in a very attractive natural site of Rural area of Sitalkuchi Block at Po-Gosair Hat Bandar, Dist-Cooch Behar , West Bengal. The Institute has been recognized by NCTE and affiliated to University of North Bengal.
This Institution has a vast, beautiful and pollution free campus which sprawls over 0.89 acres. The land having big playground , botanical garden, flower garden, artificial water reservoir, Auditorium Canteen etc. The premises consist of an imposing building with special class room, office room, principal room, faculty room, multipurpose hall, psychology laboratory, bio-science laboratory, physical science laboratory , geography laboratory, Educational Technology laboratory , music room, art and craft resource centre , physical and health resource centre, store room, indoor games , library with reading room, separate common rooms for boys & girls. Sufficient latrine and urinal for boys, girls & staffs.
Here teaching is imparted on knowledge based, skill based on contents and methodology practical works on gardening and practices teaching . Final teaching based on the syllabus and course for B.Ed. with special care, systematic away discipline under the guidance of expert teachers.

Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam and earned a bachelor's or master's degree from a board-recognized institution with a grade point average of at least 50%
Candidate must have passed HSC or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. Candidates with the reserved category will be given 5% relaxation. The candidate must be Indian. The candidate must not be more than 35 years of age.
Eligibility for B.Ed. Admission
Candidates seeking in two years B.Ed. Course should be a Graduate from a Recognized University with 50% marks in Bachelor/Master Degree or any other equivalent degree. The Meritorious Candidates will be given preference for admission. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and the candidates of PH Category. There will be no consideration for admission whatsoever after announcement of selected candidates by way of displaying the names in the College Notice Board.
Procedure for admission into B.Ed. Course
Candidate seeking into B.Ed. Admission should submit the On-line Application Form in Prescribed Format through the Official Website of the University of University of North Bengal within the given due date.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Kabiguru College of Education ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
