Birbhum National Institute For Higher Education is a self financed institute(Recognized by NCTE).The College is located at Kushmore

13 km. away from Nalhati Junction Station,7km away from Takipur Railway Station and 7km from Chatra,PS:Murarai,Dist:Bhirbhum.

B.ED as per college norms ny candidate who has obtained 50% marks in bachelor degree/master's degree in Science/Social Science/Humanitiesor Bachelor's in Engineering or technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks are eligible for taking admission in B.ED programme.For admission the institution follows the prevalent rules as pescribed by the NCTE Regulations 2014(published in The Gazette of India:Extraordinary,Part-III,Sec-4,dated:1/12/2014).Mode of admission is based on the total score obtained from his/her Secondary/H.S,Graduation,Post-Graduation.Relaxation of the percentage of marks for reserved category candidate will be as per State Govt. rules.Intake capacity is as per NCTE,State Govt. and the other statutory bodies.
D.EL.ED as per college norms The eligibility criteria is the most crucial aspect of the admission process which candidate must possess to be eligible to apply for the admission.The details of West Bengal 'D.EL.ED' admission are listed below:- 1) All the interested candidates must have Senior/H.S(12th class) examination to be eligible to apply for admission. 2) Candidates must have secured 50% marks in their Senior Secondary Examination.

B.ED

Course Details(Duration: 2 Years)

NCTE recognized B.ED course and affiliated under the University of Burdwan.Courses offered(Bachelor of Education)

degree course to NCTE(National Council for Teacher Education)and intake for 50(fifty) student(Co-Ed).The Course

curriculum are followed under the guideline of the University of Burdwan.

D.EL.ED

Course Details(Duration: 2 Years)

NCTE recognized D.EL.ED course and affiliated under West Bengal Primary Board, intake of 50(fifty) students (Co-Ed).

  • The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
  • Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our college placement cell.they try their best for every student's placements.
  • My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
  • Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is commendable.they want to give every student propers training and teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their desired job.
  • No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
  • Birbhum National Institute Of Higher Education (B.ED & D.EL.ED) ,kolkata is a good institute for engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college is having well equipped labs.

    Dislikes :The exams are very hard to crack for the students

    Placement Experience :From the sixth sem students starts getting placement offers. Companies visited like Wipro, Infosys etc. The highest Package offered was around 12 lakhs per annum. Around 1 out of 10 get placements here. My plan is to get a job here after getting the degree.
