This Sub-division had no Co-ed Primary Teachers Training Institute, in this juncture to serve the education for all classes of people for their educational development in coming days. Our society was keenly interested to build up a Primary Teachers Training Institution for all round development of all classes of people upto remote village extend. With a view to giving scope to educated youth for acquiring primary Teachers Training to enhance their scale and competences to join in teaching profession.
Such Training now in a knowledge-based society may be treated for an essential prerequisite for becoming a teacher in Primary School. The Institution has played a pioneering role in launching PTT course to help students interested in acquiring special skills to enhance their learning and earning capabilities. Keeping proper emphasis on the need of the Society and to meet the future challenges in the field of education ACHARAYA RAMENDRA SUNDAR PRIMARY TEACHERS TRAINING INSTITUTION was established at Ramendrapally, P.O. Tarapur, Dist. Birbhum , W.B. PIN- 731233 beside the State Highway of Rampurhat to Berhampore/ Sainthia Road.
Aims & Objective
To provide knowledge, understanding and skills essential for quality teacher educators.
To assist teachers in understanding theories, principles, techniques and process of teaching-learning.
To help the trainees in understanding the child’s abilities, intelligence, aptitudes, emotion, instinct and interest.
To help trainees in organizing, supervising and participating in co-curricular activities for the proper assessment of both scholastic and non-scholastic domain.
Inculcating in them the constructive and naturalistic attitudes and encouraging them to cultivate some positive values.
Equipping them with such humane qualities as honesty, sincerity, discipline, the sense of responsibility, the spirit of dedication, punctuality and the spirit of self-analysis which are required of a teacher entrusted with the responsibility of making worthy future citizens of the country.

B.Ed or Bachelor of Education is a 2-year professional course that is done after graduation to work as a teacher in schools.
B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
The Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed.) program which is a professional course. It prepares teacher for upper primary and middle level (class VI-VIII), secondary level (class IX-X) and senior secondary level classes (class XI-XII). This course enhances the teaching capability of teachers.
Course Duration
The B.Ed program shall be of a duration of two academic years.
Eligibility
A. Candidates with at least of fifty percent mark either in the bachelor’s degree or in the master’s degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. B. The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable.

Likes
The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Acharya ramendra sundar P.T.T.I. ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
